Conceived in the Lombard workshops of Rubinetterie Stella in the late 19th century, the Roma collection has been in continuous production for over 100 years — its proportions refined, its finish perfected, but its essential character unchanged. Cross-handle controls, gently arched spouts, and the quiet authority of solid Italian brass: this is a fixture that does not announce itself. It simply belongs.
Roma has been selected by some of the most celebrated interiors of the past century. It was featured in Giorgio Armani's private penthouse, shot for Elle Decor. It fills the bathrooms of Hotel La Ponche in St. Tropez and Hotel Amour in Paris. It was the fixture of choice for the restoration of Villa Necchi Campiglio, Piero Portaluppi's 1935 Milanese masterpiece — a home so perfectly preserved it served as the set of Luca Guadagnino's I Am Love.
